At the Capitol Theatre in Yakima, the musical Suffs kicks off the 2025-26 Capitol Best Series on Sept. 8 and 9. This first-ever tour of the show that won Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score of a Musical tells the story of the brilliant, passionate and funny American women who fought tirelessly for the right to vote — the suffragettes.
Next up in October is Chicago, from the genius of Bob Fosse and the creativity of Kander & Ebb. Chicago holds the distinction of being the longest-running American musical in Broadway history and the longest-running musical revival ever.

Kinky Boots features Tony- and Grammy-winning music and lyrics by pop icon Cyndi Lauper and a hilarious and life-affirming book by Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein, just in time for Christmas.
Finishing off the Capitol Best Series in January is Choir of Man, featuring a multi-talented cast of nine guys combining hair-raising harmonies with foot-stomping singalongs and a real working bar on stage. It pays homage to the local pub as a favorite gathering place.
