Eagle Cap Excursion Train kicks off new season

It’s time to reserve your seats for the Eagle Cap Excursion Train’s traditional Mother’s Day Brunch on May 11, including a four-hour scenic trip and a delicious brunch. The ride departs from Elgin, Ore., at 10 a.m., follows the banks of the Grande Ronde River to Rondowa, then returns to Elgin.

There will be 23 rides from May through October. Beautiful scenery, great food and friendly hosts add to the experience, and three “robberies” enacted by the High Country Outlaws will create excitement. On a June 8 ride, Bigfoot will make an appearance to watchful passengers.
