Yakima’s Capitol Theatre presents ‘Global Voices’
The Capitol Theatre’s Global Voices Series highlights the voices of artists from around the world that also represent voices and cultures represented in the Yakima Valley.
On Thursday, May 15, the Capitol Theatre will present a uniquely Yakima event. The Aunties showcases the stories of a select trio of women of the Yakama Nation and the region. These are the caretakers of the community, and they’ll share their histories, their humor and their inspirations. This is a live storytelling and documentary series created specifically to honor these women and their voices.
Completing the 2024-25 Capitol Best series, the Capitol Theatre presents The Addams Family on Monday and Tuesday, June 2 and 3, with both performances at 7:30 p.m. Based on characters from the classic TV series of the same name, this production is a comical feast that fully embraces the wackiness in every family.
