‘America’s Sweethearts’ to Perform in Walla Walla

On Nov. 8, join other fans of nostalgic music at Gesa Power House Theatre in Walla Walla for an evening of timeless tunes and dazzling performances by America’s Sweethearts.
Sponsored by the Tulalip Tribes, Pacific Power Foundation, Greater Hermiston Community Foundation, WESTAF, and the National Endowment for the Arts, this show will transport you back in time with the swinging sounds of female close-harmony groups.
These talented performers from New York City will bring to life classic hits like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” and “Bei Mir Bist Du Schön,” celebrating history through their crystal-clear harmonies and colorful costumes.
Those songs by the Andrews Sisters were an inspiration to Americans in a time of war, and the goal of America’s Sweethearts is to spread nostalgia, joy and human connection through music that spans several decades. With selections from the Great American Songbook, classic Broadway shows, jazz and 1950s pop, America’s Sweethearts promise a night of nostalgic fun and music for all ages.
