Billy Prine & The Prine Time Band at Cave B Winery

It is a rare opportunity to enjoy a summer sunset near Quincy, WA without the crush of the Gorge Amphitheatre crowd. When Cave B owners Vince and Carol Bryan first built the stage in 1984 at the edge of the Columbia River cliffs and the bottom of the now-grassy amphitheater bowl, they had only intended to welcome and entertain guests at their winery. It quickly became apparent that the space was destined for more, and after years of managing the space, the family eventually sold it in the 90s.

In the following decades, the Bryans kept busy building. The winery campus’ newest feature is “Stage B at Cave B”, a venue that boasts bigger sunsets and tastier wine than their neighbor’s. In recent years it hosted runs with the Yakima Symphony Orchestra and a made-for-Broadway musical. This year, it features regional performers on busy Gorge Amphitheatre weekends, and one standalone show on August 6. If you were waiting for an opportunity to hear good music with great wine and a beautiful sunset with a smaller crowd at the Gorge– here’s your chance!

Cave B will host Billy Prine & the Prine Time Band on Saturday, August 6 at 6pm. General admission will be $35 per person and you need to bring your own chair. Located at 348 Silica Rd NW in Quincy, WA. Tickets can be purchased at cba-arts.org.
