Ephrata Chamber Plans ‘Bells on Basin’

The Ephrata Chamber of Commerce has announced that its holiday festival, “Bells on Basin,” will take place on Saturday, Dec. 9. The day-long event will feature popular activities from previous years and some new ones.

“Polar Express Passports” for kids will be held again. Youngsters can obtain a “passport” punch card, map, and flyer listing participating businesses. At each stop, kids can complete an activity and have their cards marked. (For example, one business plans to offer hot cocoa and face painting). Completed cards will be turned in at the chamber office to enter a prize drawing.

Santa Claus is coming to town Saturday morning! Bring the whole family to the Ephrata Recreation Center for a fun-filled morning with Santa and a delicious Pancake Buffet Breakfast sponsored by city’s Recreation Department.

Anyone wishing to participate in the Bells on Basin Parade can sign up at ephratachamber.org. Start time is 5 p.m. Follow on Facebook and the chamber website for information and updates.

Chamber members, businesses and other persons or groups interested in helping with “Bells on Basin” activities, or who can donate money to help sponsor events and prizes, are asked to contact the chamber office by email to ephratawachamber@gmail.com or by calling (509) 754-4656
