Fall is a Busy Time for Arts in Moses Lake
- August 30, 2024
Columbia Basin Allied Arts in Moses Lake invites you to the kick-off of a new season of “Art on Third” on Sept. 14. You can make, view and buy all kinds of art during this busy day that also includes the Sip n’ Stroll wine walk, a car show and the CARE Fair.
On Sept. 28, CBAA will bring back the UMANI Festival, a celebration of Hispanic heritage with music, workshops, food, family activities, lowriders, and Lucha Libre Wrestling in downtown Moses Lake.
The CBAA Premiere Season starts Oct. 4 with an Olivia Newton-John tribute, with a portion of sales going to the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And on Nov. 1, the world’s first choose-your-own-adventure murder mystery ballet comes to the Wallenstien Theater. Choose how the story progresses and help solve the mystery set in 1800s London.
On March 1, the Sphinx Virtuosi features a new generation of black and Hispanic classical musicians — an 18-person orchestra chosen through a nationwide competition. And rounding out the season on March 28 is A Room With a View. It was a bestselling book, an award-winning movie and now a fantastic play performed by LA Theaterworks.
