Fall Season Begins for Excursion Train

The Eagle Cap Excursion Train took the month of August off to give the volunteer crew a break and prepare for the fall season.

There are eight rides in September and October, when the fall colors make the scenery exceptional. The season begins Sept. 2 with a popular train-robbery enactment performed by the mounted High Country Outlaws.

On Sept. 9, Sasquatch America of Baker City will present another Bigfoot Train. Scot and Hannah Violette will talk about Scot’s Sasquatch research and answer questions. Information and a souvenir booth will be at the depot before the ride. Bigfoot “sightings” are expected. This ride is fun for believers and skeptics!
