Farm-City Pro Rodeo Starts Wednesday Aug. 7

The Farm-City Pro Rodeo in Hermiston consists of four action-packed performances that start at 7:45 p.m. each night starting Aug. 7. It continues to host the most highly rated contestants, livestock and even the contract personnel who keep the rodeo running smoothly.

The rodeo will feature a fun family event where you can meet the contestants and contractors before the rodeo action begins for autographs, face-painting, food and rodeo merchandise. Proceeds will support local youth athletic clubs.

The Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center, or EOTEC, is the home of the Umatilla County Fair and Farm-City Pro Rodeo. Every seat offers a great view of the top-rated contestants of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association.

You will watch some of the top men and women athletes compete for top prize money — $25,000 for each event, one of the largest purses in the PRCA and WPRA. Prizes earned are crucial to qualifying for the Wrangler National Finals in Las Vegas in December.

Every night after the rodeo, Dan Burns Productions will be spinning the dance tunes until midnight in Chute Eight, the Northwest’s Premier Rodeo Dance Club.
