Spring in the Columbia Gorge and the Gorge Artists Open Studios Tour go hand in hand. The tour continues to be a much anticipated and beloved yearly event — proudly in its 19th year on May 2, 3 and 4.
This tour of artists’ studios continues to grow, with a consistent yet ever-changing array of participating artists. A unique energy emerges each year. This is a free, self-guided event, and visitors are invited to find a new relationship with art as they experience in-person the creative environments of artists.
The 2025 tour features 48 artists and artisans in 42 studios. Whatever your taste in arts or crafts, there is much to explore — painting, pastels, watercolors, print-making, photography, ceramics, basketry, woodworking, fiber and textiles, jewelry, sculpture and more. You will roam from studio to studio, choosing the stops that interest you, and all the while exploring the center of the magnificent Columbia Gorge, which teems with natural spring beauty.
The tour weekend is also a chance to enjoy unique eateries, breweries, wineries, inns, hotels and shops within four counties — Hood River and Wasco counties in Oregon, and Skamania and Klickitat counties in Washington.
