
Little Theatre Opens Season with “Legally Blonde”

The Little Theatre of Walla Walla’s first show of the 2023-24 season — Legally Blonde, The Musical — opens on Oct. 27. It was written by Heather Hatch, with music and lyrics by Lawrence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin. It is directed by Sarah Thomson and Stacie Trego, with Thomson also providing music direction.
This award-winning musical is based on the movie Legally Blonde. It follows young blonde Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes in pursuit of her dreams. With memorable song-and-dance numbers, this musical is so much fun it should be illegal!
Elle appears to have it all, but her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her to attend Harvard Law School. Determined to get him back, Elle charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. But, with the support of some new friends, Elle realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself.
Evening performances on Oct. 27, Oct. 28 and November 3, 4, 10, 11, 17 and 18 are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday Matinees on Nov. 5 and 12 begin at 2 p.m.
