Maddie & Tae to Headline at Hood River County Fair

There’s no better time to enjoy a Columbia Gorge vacation than county fair season. This year’s Hood River County Fair happens July 24-27 with the theme “”Preserving the Past, Presenting the Future,” and it’s loaded with exhibits, entertainment and family-friendly fun. The venue is south of Hood River in the community of Odell, with stunning views of Mount Hood.

A Friday-night concert will feature Latin entertainment including Banda Renovación. The 17-piece band from from Culican, Sinaloa, Mexico performs boisterous banda rhythms and has won numerous Latin music awards, including a Grammy in 2020.

Headlining on Saturday night is the award-winning country-music duo Maddie & Tae. The pair drew praise for their gold-certified “The Way It Feels” album, including the number-one hit “Die From A Broken Heart.” When the song topped the country charts, Maddie & Tae became the only female twosome with multiple number-one hits. They first broke out in 2013 with their brilliant platinum-selling smash hit “Girl In A Country Song.”

To get there, travel on I-84 to Hood River exit 64, then proceed south on State Highway 35 to the Odell junction. Follow the signs to the fairgrounds.
