There’s always something new at the Fort Walla Walla Museum. This month, the old fort will host its first-ever live radio play.
This local adaptation of the famous 1938 “War of the Worlds” radio broadcast will have Martians arriving in Walla Walla on the night before Halloween. Experience a version of the story that drove its original listeners into a frenzy, believing the scripted radio play was a real news broadcast.
Join Fort Walla Walla Museum Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. to celebrate the work Fort Walla Walla’s Living History actors have done this year and enjoy a final end-of-the-year performance. For more information, visit fwwm.org.
