Moses Lake Will Host ‘Love Happens’ Production

Columbia Basin Allied Arts in Moses Lake will present the Silhouettes, “America’s Got Talent” two-time finalists, on March 1 at 7 p.m. in the Wallenstien Theater.

The Silhouettes’ production, “Love Happens,” is a tribute to all the loves in our lives — as loving parents and pet owners, romantic partners and even unrequited love. It’s a perfect opportunity to give your loved one a Valentine’s Day gift he or she will never forget — the gift of memories. Gift certificates and tickets can be mailed for gift-giving.

“Love Happens” tells the story of love through a shadow screen. Dancers’ bodies create moving shadows as the dancers transform into objects and characters against stunning digital backdrops. This is a great show for those who love dance, digital art, film, storytelling or just good entertainment.

Arrive early at the theater for refreshments including regional wines, beer, coffee, cookies and charcuterie cups.

Tickets are $15 to $30 when purchased online at cba-arts.org, and will be $5 more at the door. You can learn more about the Silhouettes and Columbia Basin Allied Arts on Facebook.

The Wallenstien Theater is on the Big Bend Community College campus at 6989 College Parkway NE in Moses Lake. To contact CBAA, call (509) 793-0792 or send email to director@cba-arts.org.
