It feels like deja-boo! In Union Gap, near Yakima, Haunted October is back. And, as always, there will be activities to keep you scared and entertained for the entire month.
You can win cool prizes starting Oct. 6 in the Scarecrow Scavenger Hunt. If that’s not your thing, visit the Union Gap Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch, open all month. Enjoy the Friday-night cruises and free admission to the Yakima Vintiques Car Club Un-Run. Or enjoy a monstrously terrifying time at the Madd Hatters Haunt beginning Oct. 17.
On Oct 5 and 6, join the competition at the Huk This Disc Golf tournament. Or put on your skates and costumes for a fang-tastic time at the Masquerade Ball and Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Bash at Skateland on Oct. 25.
Take the kids to the Central Washington Agricultural Museum’s harvest celebration “Agricopia,” where they can take wagon rides and decorate pumpkins.
Get your fill of horror movies at the Fourth Annual Halloween Movie Fest at the Majestic Theatre the weekend of Oct. 18 and 19. See as many movies as you can with classic horror and October themes. And bring the kiddos to Mall-O-Ween at the Valley Mall in Union Gap.
