Spooky Street Festival Set for Downtown Kennewick

In the spirit of Halloween, the Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership is hosting “Boo Bash,” a Halloween street festival and trick-or-treat event, on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Vendors will line the streets of downtown Kennewick all day Saturday, displaying spooky-themed goods. There will be a costume contest, games, Halloween-decorated storefronts, costumed characters, music, artists and plenty of treats.

Street-festival activities will start at 10 a.m., and trick-or-treating officially kicks off around three in the afternoon. Kids are encouraged to wear costumes to parade throughout the downtown area, meet the vendors and collect lots of candy.

For the safety of both vendors and trick-or-treaters during the event, Kennewick Avenue will be closed to car traffic between Dayton and Washington Streets.

Last year’s Halloween event brought nearly 9,000 people to downtown Kennewick. And this year, Boo Bash will present another fantastic opportunity to promote your business, reach a wide audience and support a family-friendly event. Interested vendors who wish to sell products, including food or beverages, may apply before 5 p.m. on Oct. 11. A link to an application form is online at historickennewick.org.
