There’s Much to Celebrate at Othello Fair – Sept. 14-17, 2022

Circus acts, animals, food, beautiful exhibits, live music, and family-friendly fun. What do all these things have in common? They can all be found at the Othello Fair Sept. 14-17. This year’s theme is “Big Top Fun Under the Harvest Sun” and it will certainly live up to its name. Every day will have something fun and different for everyone to enjoy.

Come out on Wednesday to judge the 2nd annual Hometown Heroes Chili Cookoff. Thursday evening will be a hay-bucking contest for those who think they’re tough enough. And on Friday you can watch the Draft Horse Pull. If you haven’t seen beautiful draft horses in action, you need to check it out. On Saturday, the livestock sale takes place at 11 a.m., and the 2nd annual Car Exhibition starts at noon. The Cowboy Mounted Shooters event begins at 4:30 p.m.

Exhibit buildings and food vendors will be open all week. You can view the animals, grab a bite to eat, enjoy live music on the new Columbia Basin Health Association stage all week, and take the family to the carnival.

Othello is less than an hour’s drive from the Tri-Cities via Highways 395 and 17 North. Visit or the fair’s Facebook page.
