World War II Exhibit Unveiled at Fort Walla Walla

Fort Walla Walla Museum has opened a new exhibit in preparation for 2025 and the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. “Capturing the Pacific” will focus on Walla Walla’s connection to the war. Historians mark 80 years as a milestone because most witnesses to an event have passed on.

The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the winter. Consider a membership, which includes museum store discounts, special members-only events, a quarterly newsletter and free admission to the Tamástslikt Cultural Institute.

Fort Walla Walla Museum is at 755 NE Myra Road in Walla Walla and online at fwwm.org.
