Explore the Columbia River Gorge through the eyes of artists in the setting that inspires them. The group called Gorge Artists invites you to its annual Gorge Artists Open Studios Tour Friday through Sunday, April 22-24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The free, self-guided tour is an opportunity for art lovers to meet artists in their studio spaces throughout the Gorge, from Hood River to The Dalles, White Salmon, and Mount Hood. Visit all of the studios or just a few.

The tour, now in its 16th year, features more than 32 artists working in glass, metal, paints, ceramics, jewelry, textiles, woodwork, quilting, photography and more.
“It was a fabulous three days of sharing my home gallery and studio space with art lovers,” said painter Nancy Houfek Brown of Hood River, who participated in the tour for the first time in 2021.

Stay for the weekend in one of the many boutique hotels and bed-and-breakfasts, and enjoy the stunning scenery. The orchards are decked out in pink and white, the high mountains are still draped in snow and the greening hills are bursting with wildflowers. Enjoy fantastic food, recreation and shopping.
