Fairytales may suggest that “happily ever after” is the end of the story. However, as in real life, the story continues, and no story is so simply summarized. Life is just too complicated. Snow White and her posse of disenchanted princesses are determined to set the story straight in this hilarious hit musical that is anything but Grimm.
Disenchanted, the hilarious hit musical, will take the stage at the Capitol Theatre in Yakima on Wednesday, Feb. 18, for one night only, starting at 7:30 p.m.
Disenchanted originally premiered Off-Broadway in December 2014. “Dis!” (as it is affectionately known) received nominations for Outstanding Off-Broadway Musical, Best New Off-Broadway Musical, and two Lucille Lortel Awards. The show made Playbill’s list of Best of the Year in 2014. It became a global sensation with productions in five languages, on five continents, in 13 countries, and featuring more than 2,600 princesses around the world.
