Founded in 1997 by former Hanford engineers Mike Hall and Bill Jaquish, Ice Harbor Brewing Company has long been one of the Tri-Cities’ most beloved craft breweries. The founders — longtime homebrewers — shared a vision of a community hub where locals could share their passion for finely crafted beer. Originally in Pasco, Ice Harbor soon relocated to a larger space in downtown Kennewick that combined a brewing area, pub, cold storage, and even a homebrew supply shop, offering a unique gathering place for beer lovers.
Continually expanding, Ice Harbor at the Marina opened on Clover Island in 2007, offering an upscale waterfront dining experience, an extensive menu, a full-service bar, and the same celebrated brews. In 2023, the brewery moved its operations to 10 E. Bruneau Avenue in Kennewick, where it continues to serve award-winning handcrafted ales, lagers, seltzers, rotating guest ciders and spirits.
Today, Ice Harbor Brewing Company remains a cornerstone of the local craft beer scene, recognized for its quality, hospitality and enduring commitment to brewing excellence in the Tri Cities community. Ice Harbor has been voted Tri-Cities Best Brewery for 15 consecutive years and won gold at the 2025 Washington Beer Awards for its Fresh Hop IPA.
