Kip Moore to Perform for WSU Family Weekend

Billboard Magazine has called Kip Moore “one of country music’s more thoughtful artists.” The multi-platinum singer and songwriter will be performing at Beasley Coliseum on WSU’s Pullman campus on Saturday, April 18, at 6 p.m. during the university’s Spring Family Weekend.

Moore has earned a place as one of music’s most beloved artists. He has released five critically acclaimed albums and penned more than a dozen chart-topping singles, including “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck,” “Hey Pretty Girl,” “Beer Money,” and “More Girls Like You.” With more than a billion streams and 2.5 million monthly listeners, he’s been hailed as “an uncompromising, genre-defying artist firing on all cylinders.”

Moore began performing publicly in his native Georgia and moved to Nashville in 2004. He made it onto the country charts with his debut single, “Mary Was the Marrying Kind,” and that was the beginning of a stellar recording career.

Moore is renowned for his signature sound and blistering live shows in venues around the globe. For his work in promoting country music on international tours, he earned CMA’s International Artist Achievement Award in 2024. With the announcement of his new album “Solitary Tracks,” he’s poised to have another monumental year.
