BlackHawk to Headline at Hood River County Fair

There’s no better time for a Columbia Gorge vacation than county fair season, and this year’s Hood River County Fair happens July 22-25. It’ll be loaded with exhibits, entertainment and family-friendly fun. The venue is in Odell, just south of Hood River, with stunning views of Mount Hood.

A Friday-night concert will feature Latin entertainment including Los Bondadosos and Grupo Maravilla de Robin Revilla. Los Bondadosos is known for romantic ballads that have captivated Latin American audiences for more than five decades, and Grupo Maravilla de Robin Revilla celebrates the second wave of cumbia sonidera music with its synthesizers and psychedelic guitars.

Headlining on Saturday night is rising country-music act BlackHawk, a prominent 1990s band best known for soaring harmonies and emotional ballads. Their hits include “Goodbye Says It All,” “I’m Not Strong Enough to Say No,” and “That’s Just About Right.”

Daily fun at the fair will include Scotts crazy comedy magic show, a Davis Shows carnival, pony rides, Professor Bubble Pop, mutton-bustin’ and much more.

To get to the fair, travel on I-84 to Hood River exit 64, then proceed south on State Highway 35 to the Odell junction. Follow the signs to the fairgrounds.
