Farm City Pro Rodeo

The Farm-City Pro Rodeo in Hermiston continues to host the most highly rated contestants, and the venue is considered “the best of the best.” This year’s rodeo will consist of four action-packed performances that start at 7:45 p.m. each night from August 10 to 13 at the Eastern Oregon Trade and Event Center, or EOTEC.

Every seat offers a great view of the top-rated contestants, livestock and contract personnel of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association. New this year will be women’s breakaway roping, with top women athletes competing for prize money.

The Farm-City Pro Rodeo purses are among the largest in the PRCA and WPRA, with $20,000 payouts this year. The prizes here are crucial to qualifying for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas next December.

At a fun family event before the competition, you can meet the contestants and contractors for autographs and support local athletic clubs in the eatery. Kids can have their faces painted and you can purchase souvenir merchandise at the Mercantile.

Every night after the rodeo, Dan Burns Productions will be spinning the dance tunes until midnight in Chute Eight, the Northwest’s Premier Rodeo Dance Club.
