Living History Presentations Begin May 3rd

Fort Walla Walla Museum is beginning its Living History season! At 2 p.m. on May 3, the season will kick off with Bror Sornson, a follower of the infamous “Walla Walla Jesus” and a member of the Davies commune. Hear how Bror’s family immigrated from Sweden to the Walla Walla area as followers of William W. Davies.

You can also meet Nobel Prize winner Walter H. Brattain, who went to Whitman College and later returned to teach, and Joseph Meek, an early fur trapper and U.S. Marshal for the new Oregon Territory.

The Living History program takes place at 2 p.m. every Sunday from May through October. Visit fwwm.org for more information.
