A Bicycle Fun Day For All

Support community charities for kids while having fun in the Inland Empire Century Bike Ride on May 11. This annual event is hosted by Tri-Cities Industry Kiwanis, Walla Walla Kiwanis and Bike Tri-Cities. Tri-Cities Community Credit Union is the official event sponsor, and there are many other sponsors. E-Bikes are welcomed.

Serious cyclists are challenged with 75- and 100-mile routes. Families and casual cyclists can enjoy a 50-mile ride or an easy 25-mile route. Enjoy the scenic beauty of vineyards, wheat fields, rivers and fruit orchards.

The start times for 75- and 100-mile rides are 6:30 until 8 a.m. Riders for 25- and 50-mile routes are encouraged to start after 9 a.m. All are invited to attend a fun Bike Expo from noon to 4 p.m. in Columbia Park.

Online registration closes on May 8. Register in person on Friday, May 10, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Camp Kiwanis in Columbia Park, or from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday.

For kids under 13, registration is free for the 25-mile route. It’s $20 for ages 13-17. and $45 for adults. The fee for the longer rides is $70. ($5 late fee included.)

This is a fully supported event with rest stops, drinks, snacks, and giveaways. Visit inlandempirecentury.org.
