Two Local Kids Will Perform With Lil Wayne

As a concert promoter, Lafonte Joe of Bonaphied Entertainment in Pasco has brought many famous acts to the Tri-Cities, including Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, the Migos and many others.

A few years ago he began promoting a duo consisting of two young rappers who perform under the name Kash and King. Kash Joe is Lafonte’s own son, who performs with his friend King Gladney. On May 16, Lil Wayne will play a live concert at the Spokane Arena with special guests Kash and King.

The two 11-year-old boys began their rap career at the start of the pandemic lockdowns, when they were just 8 years old. They quickly rose to national attention, and opened for Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube on a tour that began that year. “The world is loving them,” said proud dad Lafonte Joe.

The duo Kash and King has been signed by the record label Elation Entertainment of New Orleans, which also represents a number of famous rap artists. In addition to their presence on YouTube, Kash and King videos are available on Apple Music, and Kash and King information and photos are online on Facebook and Instagram (@kashnking).
