On the 80th anniversary of D-Day this June, author Robert Keatts speaks to what it takes to present original material for a book on such a well-known event. Keatts traced clues in postmarked letters that led to classified and unclassified documents, which revealed “the secret six,” responsible for constructing terrain models, which were vital to the planning of the D-Day invasion. His presentation includes 19 images. His book is the first to publish these photographs taken from the originals.
